August 10th – Socios.com, the leading global blockchain provider for the sports and entertainment industry, will take a major leap forward in its continued U.S. expansion by announcing partnerships with seven more leading U.S. sports franchises in the next seven business days.
The first announcement will be made tomorrow at 9AM PT, before a further partnership is revealed on Friday and then one more each day next week Monday till Friday.
Today’s news is by far the most significant yet in Socios.com’s U.S. expansion, which has seen the company seal agreements with the Boston Celtics, Cleveland Cavaliers and Philadelphia 76ers, as well as partnerships with the UFC® , New Jersey Devils and Roush Fenway Racing.
Socios.com is a rapidly growing phenomenon, sweeping across the international sports industry, providing the world’s biggest sporting organizations with a powerful new way to engage with their global fanbases and fans with access to a wide range of engagement opportunities on the Socios.com app.
More than 50 major sports organizations have joined the Socios.com roster, which includes many of the biggest European soccer clubs such as FC Barcelona, Juventus, Manchester City, Arsenal AC Milan, Inter Milan, Valencia CF and Atlético Madrid. The Argentina national soccer team are also both on board.
Over 1.3M fans have downloaded Socios.com so far, allowing them to access voting rights in polls, VIP rewards, exclusive promotions, augmented reality features, chat forums, games and competitions linked to their favourite teams. Examples include selecting the kit for the following season, asking the coach questions in live press conferences, choosing limited edition redesigns of club logos and even choosing the team for friendly matches. Fans have also been rewarded by appearing on LED boards during games via video link and even playing games in famous stadiums, including FC Barcelona’s Nou Camp.
Socios.com is becoming an increasingly visible presence in elite sport, with all partners using their marketing rights to promote Fan Tokens to fans across the world. Furthermore, both Inter Milan and Valencia CF will promote their Fan Tokens from the front of their shirts for the coming season. Another example of the company’s exponential international growth is the renaming of Argentina’s premier domestic league to the Torneo Socios.com for the 2021/22 season.
Socios.com will work with each of the seven new partner teams and existing US partner teams to explore opportunities to increase fan engagement globally.
