POHANG, SEPTEMBER 3RD: K League 1 Club Pohang Steelers have become the first Korean sporting organisation to partner with Chiliz $CHZ, the leading global blockchain providers for sports and entertainment. The partnership will see the club join the roster of major sporting organizations on Chiliz fan engagement platform Socios.com.
Socios.com is built on the Chiliz blockchain infrastructure and uses $CHZ as its on-platform currency. Chiliz has been listed on many major exchanges, including the Korean platform Upbit.com.
The new partnership will see the club and Chiliz work together to establish common blockchain initiatives aimed at enhancing fan engagement. Initially, fans will be able to interact with the club and vote in fan polls using Socios.com’s native $SSU Token.
