With Serie A and Champions League campaigns ahead for the 2024/25 season, Italian giants AC Milan have a packed schedule ahead for the campaign. They will be aiming for glory in at least one competition. Here is how their season breaks down.
Key Highlights and Matchups
For AC Milan, eyes immediately turn to their city rivals, Internazionale. As well as that, they have to contend with some perennial adversaries like Juventus and Roma, and Antonio Conte’s Napoli provide a real threat. With Zlatan Ibrahimovic now providing guidance at the heart of the club, a tilt at the Scudetto and Champions League ambitions against Girona and others will be hugely important.
Serie A Campaign
Their next big match on the horizon for AC Milan comes when they welcome Juventus on November 23 to the Stadio Giuseppe Meazza.
The last match of 2024 is another big home match as they face AS Roma on December 29, while January 19 sees them visit Juventus.
February 2 features the clash with Inter, with AC Milan the nominal home team for their second meeting of the season. March 30 is a tough away trip against title contenders Napoli, and the penultimate match of the season on May 18 is a trip to AS Roma.
The league season concludes on May 25 with a potentially vital home game against Monza.
Home Matches
When fixtures were announced, it became clear that the toughest early fixture would be against Napoli on October 30, at home. That will be followed up almost a month later, on November 23/24 against Juventus. Another home test comes against Roma in the last match of 2024, and the second Milan derby is on the weekend of 1/2 February next weekend. Finally, the season-ending clash with Monza on May 25 is likely an easy win for AC Milan, but the pressure might get to both sides.

European Competitions
With four relatively easy matches to finish the league format, the pressure looked to be on in the early matches. Arne Slot’s Liverpool, followed by Xabi Alonso’s Bayer Leverkusen, were two clearly tough fixtures. Club Brugge on October 22 looked to offer respite, before a trip to the Bernabeu against Real Madrid on November 5.
