It’s the second highest number of SSU used to redeem a reward on the Fan Rewards feature of the Socios.com app after the Argentina shirt signed by Lionel Messi and Lautaro Martínez, which was recently redeemed for 425.000 SSU tokens.

The ball, with which Italian Federico Dimarco scored the opening goal against AC Milan in the recent EA Sports Supercoppa Italiana, is already on its way to Italy after being authenticated by Socios Collectibles.com, Chiliz’s new blockchain-based memorabilia authentication service.
The ball carries an NFC chip that will give its new owner the chance to check its authenticity easily by just scanning it with his mobile phone.
This is the second stage of a first-ever unique and innovative activation carried out by Socios.com and its partner Lega Serie A during the EA Sports Supercoppa Italiana, which saw local rivals and Socios.com partners FC Internazionale and AC Milan face-to-face in the King Fahd International Stadium in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia).
As spectators worldwide were able to watch on their TV screens, each time a goal was scored the referee removed the ball from the pitch and handed it to a member of the Socios.com team, who placed it in a transparent urn.
Immediately after the match, these balls were taken to Chiliz’s main headquarters, where they were authenticated using Socios Collectibles.com, before being made available for Inter Fan Token holders to earn.

The next match-scored ball to be made available on the app will be the one used by Lautaro Martínez to score the third and final goal of the EA Sports Supercoppa Italiana. Details will be announced soon across Chiliz and Socios.com channels.
