Juventus FC Serie A Full Schedule 2024/2025

After a jam-packed summer, in which Spain bested England in the final of the European Championships to be crowned champions for a record fourth time.

Now, all attention is on the domestic season that lies ahead and fans of the Old Lady are already getting excited after some eye-catching signings.

Below, we take a look at the full season schedule, the stand out fixtures, the notable dates, and much more.

Overview of the 2024/2025 Serie A Season

Italian football is becoming harder to predict – the quality of teams is increasing, the number of superstars in the division is growing, and the coaching is at a higher standard.

It is approaching five years since Juventus got their hands on the title. No club has won it more than the Turin outfit (36 times), so there will be a thirst for ending the drought sooner rather than later.

Can they get back on the title-winning horse this season?

Key Fixtures and Dates

Some matches mean more than others – and Juventus have their fair share of raucous rivalries, many of which have been emboldened by a period of unprecedented success down the years.

Below, find the dates in the calendar that stand out like a sore thumb, the ones that will have fans booking flights and making plans months out.

The Turin Derby: Juventus FC vs Torino

Otherwise known as the Derby della Mole, named as such after Mole Antonelliana – a major landmark in the city – the match-up between Juventus and Torino is all about intercity bragging rights.

This season, the two are scheduled to meet on the following dates

  • November 10: Juventus vs Torino
  • January 12: Torino vs Juventus

Expect tense and cagey affairs – last season, Juventus came out on top 2-0 at home, while the reverse fixture finished 0-0.

This has been a contest dominated by the black and white stripes in recent times – you have to go back to 2015 to see the last time Torino beat Juventus in the league.

Since then, Juventus are unbeaten in 18 league matches, winning 13 of them.

Juventus FC vs Inter Milan

The highlight of the Italian football calendar, the Derby d’Italia (the nickname for the match between Juventus and Inter Milan) ranks alongside El Clasico in Spain and Le Classique in France as leading European derbies.

As it stands, the fixtures are down for the following dates, although they are subject to change due to television demands.

  • October 27: Inter Milan vs Juventus
  • February 16: Juventus vs Inter Milan

Juventus only managed to capture one point from their two games with eventual champions Inter Milan in the 2023/24 season

With so much on the line in these rivalries, both clubs tend to put safety first. Indeed, in the last six league matches between these two, there have been two goals or fewer.

Juventus FC vs AC Milan

Although it’s not quite as seismic as the game between Juventus and Inter Milan, this clash represents the wider rivalry between the cities of Turin and Milan

This year, the games are taking place on the following dates:

November 24: AC Milan vs Juventus

January 19: Juventus vs AC Milan

The last three league games between these two spawned one win for the Old Lady, one win for I Rossoneri, and one draw. If you wanted further proof as to the tightness of this rivalry, only two goals were scored over the course of those three affairs.

Will we see more low-scoring, edge-of-your-seat encounters?

Juventus FC vs Napoli

Another game with historic, regional undertones, the Juventus and Napoli clash pits Italian football from the north and the south against one another.

Styles clash and sparks usually fly. You can watch them take each other on across the following dates this year:

  • September 22: Juventus vs Napoli
  • January 26: Napoli vs Juventus

The last two games between these two have produced ten yellow cards – expect some more fireworks this season.

Juventus FC vs AS Roma

Last, but no means least, in the list of notable Juventus fixtures in the upcoming season is the showdown with Roma.

Juventus managed to bag four points in the two league games against them last season.

This season, they face each other on the following dates:

  • September 1: Juventus vs Roma
  • April 6: Roma vs Juventus

Other Key Fixtures

In truth, every single game at Juventus is key. The pressure for trophy ware from fans is immense – any game where the result is not a positive one is hyper-analysed.

However, it is worth pointing to the ferocious rivalry with Fiorentina, which was established as a result of the bad blood in the transfer of Roberto Baggio Fiorentina to Juventus in 1990.

Games are always spicy between the two clubs, and the fans of both sides love to get one over on the other team.

This year, the two teams will match up on the following dates:

  • December 29: Juventus vs Fiorentina
  • March 16: Fiorentina vs Juventus

Home and Away Matches

There is no getting away from the fact that last year was a disappointing one in terms of Juventus’ final league position.

They managed to score just 26 goals at the Allianz Stadium – the third-fewest scored at home of all the top ten clubs. Indeed, they finished sixth based on home  results, amassing 40 points from their 19 games. In contrast, champions Inter Milan picked up 46 points.

They picked up 31 points on the road, which represents the third-best points haul in the season.

Important Periods in the Schedule

The Christmas period is always a challenging period for any team, given the build-up of fixtures, the inclement weather, and the gruelling fitness required to get through unscathed.

But it looks especially tough for the Old Lady – their fixture schedule reads as follows:

  • December 29: Juventus vs Fiorentina
  • January 5: Atalanta vs Juventus
  • January 12: Torino vs Juventus
  • January 19: Juventus vs AC Milan
  • January 26: Napoli vs Juventus

Expectations and Predictions

Every season represents an all-encompassing endurance event for Juventus and their supporters. The club motto is “Fino alla Fine”, which translates to “Until the End” – it’s that never-ending commitment to winning and glory that means expectations are set high and stay that way from the moment the campaign kicks off.

The fans won’t accept anything other than a title-challenge and a deep run in a cup competition.

Can they deliver under the new stewardship of Thiago Motta? We think a top-three finish is in the offing.

Prediction: 3rd

Socios.com Partners y Juventus FC Fan Tokens

Socios.com is in an official partnership with Serie A and Juventus FC for the upcoming season. As a global leader in blockchain-based fan engagement, Socios are hoping to use the league as a springboard for fans who are looking to engage with their team in different ways than before .

In recent years, there has been a significant increase in the importance of fan engagement for sports teams. This can be attributed to various factors such as technological advancements, changing consumer behaviours, and increased competition between teams.

Socios works by using blockchain technology to create and distribute fan tokens for sports teams. These tokens are unique digital assets that give fans ownership in the team and a say in important decisions through voting rights.

Fan tokens also offer a range of benefits for fans, including:

  • Ownership in the Team: By holding fan tokens, fans have a sense of ownership and pride in their team, making them more invested and passionate about the team’s success.
  • Influence in Decision-Making: Fan tokens give fans a say in important decisions for the team, allowing them to feel involved and valued by their favourite teams.
  • Exclusive Benefits: Token holders often have access to exclusive benefits such as VIP experiences, merchandise discounts, and other rewards that are not available to non-token holders.

Recap of the Previous Season

There’s no two ways about it – last year was a campaign to forget for the Old Lady, at least in the league.

They managed to lift the Coppa Italia trophy with a 1-0 victory over Atalanta – it’s the 15th time they have won the competition, extending the record for the most Coppa Italia cup wins by a single club.

But nothing but a league title will satisfy the faithful in Turin. New manager Motta will have to get his charges playing well right from the off if he is to keep the vultures from circling.
